education-desktop-xfce software package provides Debian Edu Xfce desktop applications, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install education-desktop-xfce
education-desktop-xfce is installed in your system.
Make ensure the education-desktop-xfce package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep education-desktop-xfce *
You will get with education-desktop-xfce package name, version, architecture and description in a table
